I am a huge tea lover. To me, it’s like a warm hug to the soul, and it can be an amazing go-to for any health ailment you have. Feeling sick? Have some tea. Anxious? Drink, honey. Here’s my list of favourite teas at the moment (though I’m sure I’ll always add more!)
This type of tea is so soothing and relaxing. Whenever I’m having a stressful day, I push aside my longing for a glass of wine and go for something healthier. It has a great flavour, smells amazing and you feel the effects right away. Tip: try and find one with lavender as that also has calming properties.
I am a huge lover of peppermint, whether it’s a tea flavour or not, so give this one a try. It’s good for stomach and digestion problems, and the flavour of it is one tea that you’ll want to add sugar or stevia too if you want something sweeter.
If you have a cold or digestive problems, this is the tea for you. The flavour is quite strong, but you push past that just knowing the health benefits it’s giving you. Try and buy a medicine version of this tea for the most effect.
White chocolate peppermint
Nothing quite gets me in the holiday spirit like a cup of white chocolate peppermint tea. I get mine from Teavana, and while it’s pretty pricy, I consider it so worth it when you’re all cuddled up, warm and cozy next to the Christmas tree.
